The intermediate annual examination schedule for 2026 has officially been released by education boards across Punjab, providing important dates for both first-year and second-year students. According to the announced timetable, 12th-grade examinations will begin from May 20, while 11th-grade exams are set to start on June 15.
Board officials said the first papers for both classes will include subjects such as Psychology, Home Economics, and Applied Sciences. Examinations for other subjects will then continue in phases according to the detailed schedule issued by the boards.
Authorities confirmed that the examination plan has been adjusted to accommodate Eid al-Adha holidays. No examinations will be conducted between May 26 and May 31, allowing students and staff to observe the religious occasion without disruption to the overall examination process.
For Inter Part II students, the final examination paper will be Pakistan Studies, scheduled for June 12. Meanwhile, Inter Part I students will continue their exams until July 8, with Computer Science being the last paper in the schedule.
Board representatives also announced that practical examinations will begin from July 10 and continue until August 18. Students studying science and technical subjects will be required to appear in practical assessments according to the dates assigned by their respective boards and institutions.
Students have been advised to carefully follow examination instructions and reach their examination centres on time. Officials stressed that candidates must carry their roll number slips and other required documents to avoid any inconvenience on exam days.
