The City Traffic Police Lahore has announced revised operating hours for all licensing offices across the city to improve public convenience and reduce overcrowding at service centers.
Under the new schedule, all licensing facilities will remain open from 8:00 am until midnight, allowing citizens more flexibility to access driving license services and related assistance throughout the day.
Currently, Lahore has 12 licensing testing centers along with 33 license facilitation centers that provide various services related to driving licenses and documentation for residents across the provincial capital.
The announcement was made by newly appointed Chief Traffic Officer Syed Abdul Rahim Sherazi during a high-level meeting held to review the performance of licensing offices. The meeting was attended by the DSP Licensing, heads of all licensing centers, and other concerned officials.
During the session, authorities assessed the effectiveness of the existing licensing system and discussed measures to further improve service delivery for citizens applying for driving licenses and related documents.
Officials said the extended timings are intended to make the licensing process more accessible and efficient for the public while helping ease congestion at busy centers. The revised operating hours will now be implemented at all licensing offices throughout Lahore.
