RAWALPINDI – Bushra Bibi, spouse of Imran Khan and founder-chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was shifted from Adiala Jail to a private hospital under strict security arrangements for an eye examination before being moved back to jail.
According to reports, Bushra Bibi underwent a medical check-up at the private medical facility as part of her ongoing treatment. Following the examination, authorities escorted her back to Adiala Jail and returned her to her prison cell under tight security measures.
Sources stated that extensive security arrangements were deployed during her transfer and hospital visit. Access to the hospital premises was reportedly restricted, and unauthorized individuals were not allowed near the area while the examination was taking place.
It is important to note that Bushra Bibi had previously undergone eye surgery at a private hospital on April 17. Her latest visit was reportedly part of a scheduled follow-up examination related to that procedure.
Officials maintained heightened security throughout the process to ensure smooth movement between the jail and hospital. The arrangements included strict monitoring in and around the medical facility during her stay.
The development comes amid continued public and political attention surrounding the legal matters involving PTI leadership and related court proceedings.
