UNICEF Hiring Pakistanis through Online Job Applications

The Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment has launched an awareness campaign encouraging young professionals to explore global career opportunities with UNICEF.

The initiative highlights a range of current job openings across multiple sectors, urging qualified candidates to apply for international roles within the UN system that focus on humanitarian and development work.

UNICEF is presented as a strong platform for both career growth and public service. Officials noted that nearly 85% of its workforce operates in field positions, directly engaging with communities around the world.

The organization is currently recruiting across diverse fields, including child protection, education, nutrition, emergency response, information technology, and supply chain management. Opportunities are available under various categories such as International Professional, National Officer, and General Service roles, with contract options ranging from short-term assignments to fixed-term positions lasting one to two years.

To be eligible, applicants must have relevant educational qualifications and typically between one and ten years of professional experience, depending on the role. Proficiency in English is mandatory, while knowledge of additional UN languages is considered an advantage. Officials also pointed out that volunteering with UNICEF can serve as an effective pathway for gaining international exposure and experience.

Interested individuals are advised to visit UNICEF’s official careers portal to view updated job listings and submit applications. Authorities stressed the importance of using only verified and official platforms, cautioning applicants against relying on unverified sources or unofficial recruitment channels.
