Three young men lost their lives after drowning while swimming in the Hub River, in a tragic incident that has left their families and community in shock. All three victims belonged to Orangi Town and had reportedly gone to the river for a casual outing with friends.
According to initial reports, rescue teams from the Edhi Foundation quickly responded after receiving information about the drowning. Upon arrival, rescuers conducted an operation and successfully retrieved the bodies from the water. The deceased were first shifted to Hub Civil Hospital for necessary formalities and were later transferred to the Edhi Morgue located in Sohrab Goth.
A spokesperson for the Edhi Foundation confirmed the identities of the victims as 18-year-old Adeeb, 20-year-old Huzaifa, and Haris. All three young men were residents of the Qasba area in Orangi Town and were known among their peers.
Further details revealed that the group had traveled to the Hub River as part of a recreational visit. What began as a leisure trip unfortunately turned into a fatal incident when the three entered the water and drowned.
