[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) recently decided to suspend Sehat Card Plus services. This decision was made as a result of the insurance company’s failure to receive Rs. 14 billion in arrears from the Sehat Card Plus management company.

Due to the suspension of Sehat Card Plus services, hospital admissions under the programme have been halted with immediate effect. Furthermore, beginning April 20, no new admissions will be permitted.

The Sehat Card Plus programme was established to provide high-quality healthcare services to people in KP who are poor. Unfortunately, the scheme has been halted because the insurance company has not received its arrears.

As a result, the hospital-based health desks for health facilitator cards will continue to be closed. People who rely on the Sehat Card Plus for access to high-quality healthcare services are likely to be significantly impacted by this development.

In order to handle the arrears issue and find a resolution that enables the plan to restart operations, it is anticipated that the authorities and the insurance firm will engage in negotiations.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
