PMDC Closes Admissions for 2025–26 Academic Session

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has officially announced the closure of admissions for the 2025–2026 academic session, effective from April 15, 2026.

In its notification, the council instructed all recognized medical and dental colleges across the country to strictly stop admissions after the stated deadline. It further warned that any student admitted beyond April 15 will not be registered under any circumstances.

The PM&DC clarified that admissions granted after the cutoff date will be considered a violation of the PM&DC Act, 2022, along with the rules governing undergraduate medical and dental education.

It also stated that students enrolled after the deadline will not receive registration numbers, making their admissions invalid. The directive, approved by the competent authority, is mandatory for all colleges and universities in Pakistan.

The council emphasized that institutions must ensure full compliance with these regulations to uphold transparency, merit, and standard standards in medical and dental education.
