Sui Southern Gas Company has announced a special Gas supply schedule for Eid ul Fitr. The plan aims to ensure better availability during the festive period.
According to the company, Gas will be available without interruption from Chand Raat. This continuous supply will last until midnight of the first day of Eid. The move is designed to support households during peak cooking hours.
On the second day of Eid, Gas will remain available throughout the day. However, supply will be suspended from 12:00 am to 6:00 am. This short pause is part of routine load management.
The company stated that supply will resume on the third day at 6:00 am. It will continue until 12:00 am. This allows consumers to use Gas during most of the day without issues.
On the fourth day of Eid, supply will begin at 6:00 am. It will remain available until 10:00 pm. After that, the system will gradually return to normal timings.
Sui Southern said it has taken steps to maintain stable pressure. The company is focusing on managing demand during busy hours. It is also working to maintain proper line pack across its network.
These measures are important during Eid. Demand for Gas usually increases due to cooking and gatherings. The company aims to reduce disruptions during this time.
SSGC also confirmed that the regular schedule will resume from March 24. Under this routine, Gas supply will be suspended daily from 10:00 pm to 5:30 am. This is part of ongoing resource management.
