Bolan Mail Train Operations Resume for Karachi Route

Pakistan Railways has announced the resumption of the Bolan Mail Train service to Karachi after a two-week suspension, according to railway officials. The move comes as part of efforts to restore regular passenger services and accommodate travelers who rely on this important train route.

Railway authorities explained that the train’s scheduled departure on the previous day had been canceled due to a low number of passengers. This temporary halt led to uncertainty among travelers awaiting the service, but officials have now confirmed that the Bolan Mail Train will resume its operations, allowing commuters to plan their journeys with more certainty.

In addition, Pakistan Railways has clarified that no special trains will be operated for Eid this year. Traditionally, Eid special trains are announced around fifteen days before festivals such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to facilitate travel for passengers returning to their hometowns. However, this year, the ongoing fuel crisis has significantly impacted railway operations, prompting officials to suspend these additional services.

The absence of Eid special trains has caused concern among passengers who plan to travel during the festival season. Many travelers may face difficulties securing transportation, leading to overcrowding on available trains and alternative travel options. Officials have urged passengers to plan ahead and make necessary arrangements to avoid inconvenience during the holiday period.

Despite these challenges, the resumption of the Bolan Mail Train service marks a positive step toward restoring regular railway operations. Authorities hope that by gradually resuming key train services, passengers will regain access to reliable travel options, particularly on major routes such as Karachi, where the Bolan Mail Train has long been a vital link connecting cities across Pakistan. This decision reflects Pakistan Railways’ ongoing efforts to balance operational constraints with passenger needs.
