UET Lahore has announced several teaching and other job opportunities for 2026. The vacancies are available across multiple campuses.
The university has opened positions at its Main Campus in Lahore. Jobs are also available at campuses in Kala Shah Kaku, Faisalabad, Narowal, and RCET Gujranwala.
Applicants must have a Punjab domicile to qualify for these positions. The university is offering jobs in several academic and administrative areas.
The announced positions include Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Lecturers. Teaching Fellow and Horticulturist positions are also available.
Available Faculty Positions
Professor vacancies are available in Mining Engineering and Computer Science. UET Lahore has also announced several Associate Professor positions.
These include Architecture, Chemical Engineering, and Computer Science. Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics are also included.
Assistant Professor vacancies cover several modern technology fields. These include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
Other positions are available in Machine Learning and Cyber Security. Biomedical Engineering and City and Regional Planning are also included.
Lecturer positions are available in Information Technology and Business Administration. Environmental Engineering and Geological Engineering are also among the available fields.
Additional Lecturer vacancies cover Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Positions related to Artificial Intelligence have also been announced.
Teaching Fellow and Horticulturist Vacancies
The university has announced Teaching Fellow positions in several subjects. These include Business and Information Technology, Computer Science, and English.
Mathematics, Communication Skills, Physics, and Food Science and Technology are also included. Selected Teaching Fellows will receive Rs75,000 as a monthly stipend.
UET Lahore has also announced one Horticulturist position at its Narowal Campus. The selected candidate will receive Rs157,500 per month.
Applicants for this position must be between 21 and 45 years old. Candidates must also meet the specified eligibility requirements.
Qualification Requirements
Faculty applicants must fulfill the qualification standards set by the Higher Education Commission. Engineering candidates need valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration.
Teaching Fellow applicants must hold an 18-year Master’s or MPhil qualification. The degree must be relevant to the position being applied for.
Applicants must also meet the required academic performance criteria. Candidates should carefully review the eligibility requirements before submitting applications.
How to Apply
Candidates must first complete their applications through the UET Lahore online job portal. Applicants must upload a passport-size photograph during the online process.
After completing the form, candidates must print and sign the application. They must attach all required documents with the printed application.
Applicants must also provide a Rs2,000 postal order or bank deposit slip. The payment proof should accompany the application.
Teaching Fellow applications must reach the relevant department or campus. Applications for other positions should reach the Registrar’s Office at UET Lahore.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Late submissions will also be rejected by the university.
