The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh. Experienced ICC referee Neeyamur Rashid Rahul will serve as the match referee for all three games.
The on-field umpiring panel will feature Kumar Dharmasena, Adrian Holdstock, Ghazi Sohail, Tanveer Ahmed, and Masudur Rahman, who will rotate responsibilities across the series.
For the opening ODI on March 11, Kumar Dharmasena and Ghazi Sohel will act as on-field umpires. Adrian Holdstock will serve as the TV umpire, while Tanveer Ahmed will take the role of fourth official.
In the second ODI on March 13, Adrian Holdstock and Tanveer Ahmed will officiate on-field. Kumar Dharmasena will manage TV umpire duties, and Masudur Rahman Mukul will be the fourth umpire.
The third and final ODI on March 15 will see Kumar Dharmasena and Masudur Rahman Mukul as on-field umpires. Adrian Holdstock will again serve as TV umpire, and Morshed Ali Khan will act as the fourth official.
Earlier, the PCB announced a 15-member Pakistan ODI squad for the series. All matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue as captain of Pakistan’s ODI side. The squad includes six uncapped players: Abdul Samad, Maaz Sadaqat, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Saad Masood, Sahibzada Farhan, and Shamyl Hussain.
Among the newcomers, Abdul Samad, Maaz Sadaqat, Saad Masood, and Shamyl Hussain were recently part of the Pakistan Shaheens squad that played against England Lions in Abu Dhabi. Analysts say including fresh talent provides Pakistan with depth and strengthens the bench for international competitions.
The upcoming ODI series promises competitive cricket, with Pakistan aiming to perform strongly against Bangladesh. Fans are excited to see both experienced players and newcomers representing the country on the international stage.
