Pakistani nationals living in the United Arab Emirates will soon receive easier access to identity services. The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a special facilitation drive in Sharjah for Overseas Pakistanis.
According to the official details, NADRA’s Mobile Registration Team will provide on-the-spot services. Officials from the Pakistan Consulate will also be present to assist applicants. The initiative is designed to support Overseas Pakistanis who face difficulties reaching permanent registration centers.
The mobile service will take place on Sunday, 22 February 2026. It will run from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm local time. The event will be held at the Pakistan Social Centre near Al Manakh Park in Sharjah.
This facilitation drive aims to bring essential documentation services closer to the community. Many Overseas Pakistanis in the UAE must travel long distances for identity-related work. The mobile setup will reduce travel time and provide convenience.
During the drive, applicants can apply for new identity documents. They can also request updates, corrections, and renewals of existing NADRA records. Officials have advised visitors to bring all required documents to avoid delays.
The move reflects efforts to improve services for Overseas Pakistanis living abroad. NADRA continues to expand outreach programs to make registration services more accessible.
In a separate announcement, NADRA has revised office timings for its registration centers in Pakistan during Ramadan 2026. The new schedule will apply throughout the holy month.
For centers operating five days a week, offices will remain open from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. On Friday, timings will be from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
For centers operating six days a week, offices will open from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Friday hours will remain from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
