Disabled Persons in Sindh to Get AI Job Support

Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved a new digital initiative to support persons with disabilities in Sindh. The plan includes an AI-based job portal and an online complaint system. The move aims to improve access to jobs and public services across Sindh.

The chief minister approved a partnership with the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration. The institute will help develop a dedicated job portal for persons with disabilities. The platform will use artificial intelligence to match candidates with suitable positions.

Officials said the portal will be available in Sindhi, Urdu, and English. This will ensure wider access for users in Sindh. The system will connect job seekers directly with government departments. It will also promote transparent and merit-based recruitment.

The government said the initiative will help persons with disabilities take part in economic and social development. The portal will create a direct link between applicants and provincial institutions. Authorities believe this step will improve employment opportunities in Sindh.

Alongside the job portal, the government will introduce a digital complaint registration and resolution system. This system will allow individuals to submit complaints online. Users will also be able to track the progress of their cases. Officials said the process will ensure faster responses and better accountability.

The AI-based job portal is expected to become operational by May 2026. The complaint resolution module is scheduled for launch by July 2026. The government has directed relevant departments to complete development within the given timeline.

The initiative supports the Sindh Employment of Persons with Disabilities Act 2018. The law requires a five percent job quota in government departments. It also calls for support systems, a central database, and proper disability certification.
