A young cricketer, Aina Wazi, from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has gained massive attention after a video of her outstanding batting went viral on social media, drawing admiration from fans and members of the cricket community.
In the clip, Aina can be seen confidently playing alongside boys, showcasing impressive timing, elegant stroke play, and maturity beyond her age. Her calm presence at the crease and natural flair quickly won praise online, with many users applauding her talent and demanding more opportunities for young female cricketers across Pakistan.
One of the prominent figures who noticed her performance was Javed Afridi, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Afridi commended Aina’s remarkable skills and described her as a promising talent for the future.
He further announced that she would be included in the upcoming Zalmi Women League, a platform designed to nurture and promote aspiring female cricketers by providing them structured opportunities to grow in the sport.

Afridi also assured that Aina would receive full cricket equipment and access to professional training facilities to help refine her skills and support her journey toward professional cricket.
The Zalmi Women League, launched under initiatives connected to the Pakistan Super League, aims to empower young girls and encourage wider female participation in cricket.
