Months after influencer Nyla Raja publicly dismissed rumors linking her to former Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim, reports now suggest the two have quietly tied the knot in a private ceremony. The alleged marriage has sparked fresh controversy, particularly after Imad’s former wife, Sannia Ashfaq, shared videos from the event, claiming they confirm what she had been saying all along.
Sannia, who has repeatedly accused the all-rounder of infidelity, alleged that his extramarital relationship ultimately destroyed their marriage. In an emotional social media post, she uploaded clips and pictures said to be from the ceremony, asserting that the truth is now visible to everyone. Expressing anger and heartbreak, she accused the cricketer of failing to consider the impact on their children and demanded justice for herself and her family.
She also criticized PSL franchise Islamabad United, which recently signed Imad for the upcoming season, questioning why the team would support a player surrounded by personal controversy.
Imad and Sannia were married in Islamabad in August 2019. They welcomed their daughter, Inaya, in 2021 and their son, Rayan, in 2022. The couple announced their separation in December 2025. The cricketer’s reported second marriage has now intensified public scrutiny, turning their private matters into a heated social media debate with fans divided in opinion.
Previously, Nyla Raja had firmly denied any romantic involvement with Imad. Speculation began after a video surfaced showing the two outside a glasses store in London during a period when reports of marital strain were circulating. Responding on Instagram, Raja said the clip had been misinterpreted and insisted it captured an ordinary moment. She urged people to avoid spreading assumptions, emphasizing that being a public figure does not justify attacks on her character or dignity.
