Authorities have announced revised working hours for passport offices nationwide to accommodate citizens during Ramadan 2026.
According to the official notification, Regional Passport Offices, Executive Passport Offices, and Passport Processing Counters will operate on adjusted public service timings while keeping regular administrative hours intact. From Monday to Thursday, public service and token issuance will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overall office hours remaining 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. On Fridays, public services will be available 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while offices continue normal operations, including a scheduled namaz break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
The revised Ramadan schedule does not apply to certain high-capacity centers, such as NADRA Mega Centers, which will continue according to their own operational hours.
The notification also detailed the updated passport fee structure:
36-Page Passport – Normal 5 years: Rs. 4,500 | Normal 10 years: Rs. 6,700 | Urgent 5 years: Rs. 7,500 | Urgent 10 years: Rs. 11,200
72-Page Passport – Normal 5 years: Rs. 8,200 | Normal 10 years: Rs. 12,400 | Urgent 5 years: Rs. 13,500 | Urgent 10 years: Rs. 20,200
100-Page Passport – Normal 5 years: Rs. 9,000 | Normal 10 years: Rs. 13,500 | Urgent 5 years: Rs. 18,000 | Urgent 10 years: Rs. 27,000
Citizens are advised to follow these timings while planning visits to passport offices during the holy month to ensure smooth service delivery.
