PSL 11 Auction Finalizes Squads,Here They Are

The first-ever Pakistan Super League player auction concluded at Lahore’s Expo Center, marking a historic shift in the league’s player acquisition system. Franchises finalized their combinations after intense bidding wars featuring top Pakistani performers and high-profile international stars ahead of the much-anticipated PSL 11 season.

Teams focused on building balanced squads with strong batting depth, versatile all-rounders, and specialized bowling options suited for different match conditions. Several franchises retained core performers while strategically investing in overseas match-winners to strengthen key departments and address weaknesses observed during previous PSL campaigns.

Hyderabad Kingsmen assembled a dynamic lineup featuring Saim Ayub, Marnus Labuschagne, Kusal Perera, Riley Meredith, and Sharjeel Khan. Their squad blends youth, experience, and power hitting, suggesting an aggressive tactical approach that could make them one of the tournament’s most unpredictable and entertaining sides.

Islamabad United and Karachi Kings also made strong statements. United secured players like Shadab Khan, Mark Chapman, and Mohammad Wasim Jr., while Karachi added David Warner, Adam Zampa, and Moeen Ali, forming a formidable combination of international pedigree and reliable domestic performers.

Lahore Qalandars retained Shaheen Afridi and added Fakhar Zaman and Haris Rauf, signaling intent to dominate both batting and bowling departments. Peshawar Zalmi kept Babar Azam while recruiting Kusal Mendis, Michael Bracewell, and James Vince, indicating a strategy focused on experience, stability, and finishing strength.

Quetta Gladiators, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot Stallionz also built competitive squads highlighted by stars like Rilee Rossouw, Naseem Shah, Steve Smith, and Daryl Mitchell. With the season scheduled from March 26 to May 3, 2026, PSL 11 promises intense rivalries, fresh storylines, and possibly one of the most competitive editions yet.
