Pakistani Executed in Saudi Arabia Over Drug Smuggling Case

Saudi authorities have executed a Pakistani national in the Makkah region after he was convicted of attempting to smuggle illegal drugs into the Kingdom.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the accused was identified as Naqab Khan, a Pakistani citizen arrested on charges related to drug trafficking.

The ministry said investigations confirmed his involvement in the crime, with evidence including seized narcotics and a confessional statement recorded during questioning.

After completion of the investigation process, the case was referred to a Saudi court, where charges were formally proven under the Kingdom’s laws.

Based on the evidence and confession, the court awarded the death penalty, which was upheld after all legal and judicial requirements were fulfilled.

Saudi authorities said the execution reflects the Kingdom’s strict stance against drug crimes to protect society and ensure public safety.
