foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading online delivery platform, has officially launched its Winter Initiatives, a nationwide rider welfare campaign aimed at supporting delivery partners during harsh winter conditions. The initiative reflects the company’s focus on rider safety, comfort, and recognition as temperatures continue to drop across major cities.
As part of the campaign, foodpanda is distributing more than 12,000 high-quality winter jackets and mittens to its delivery riders across the country. The company said the protective gear is designed to help riders cope with cold and unpredictable weather while continuing daily operations. Officials described the move as a tribute to riders who form the backbone of food delivery and quick commerce services.
In addition to winter clothing, foodpanda has introduced Soup and Tea Stations at selected pandaMarts in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. These stations provide hot refreshments, allowing riders to warm up, recharge, and take short breaks during long working hours in cold conditions. The initiative aims to support riders’ physical well-being and morale.
foodpanda has also partnered with the Akhuwat Foundation to distribute jeans to riders as part of the Winter Care programme. The collaboration adds another layer of protection against cold weather and highlights the company’s efforts to work with social organisations to enhance rider welfare across Pakistan.
To recognise rider dedication, foodpanda has launched an Order Driven Winter Challenge in seven cities. Under this campaign, riders completing the highest number of orders during the winter period will be rewarded. More than 100 top-performing riders will receive brand-new mobile phones as a token of appreciation.
