The 21st edition of the TDCP International Cholistan Desert Rally is set to be held from February 4 to February 8, 2026, in the Cholistan Desert near Bahawalpur. The much-anticipated event is expected to once again deliver thrilling high-speed motorsport action across Pakistan’s vast and challenging desert terrain, attracting racing enthusiasts from all parts of the country.
Organized by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), the rally will feature participation from both national and international drivers. Competitors will test their skills on demanding desert tracks, making the event one of the most challenging and exciting motorsport competitions in the region.
Beyond the racing spectacle, the Cholistan Desert Rally plays a significant role in promoting tourism and highlighting the cultural heritage of South Punjab. The event provides a platform to showcase local traditions, crafts, and hospitality, while also generating economic activity for nearby communities. Over the years, the rally has grown into a major public attraction, drawing large crowds and extensive media coverage.
In a statement issued last month, TDCP Managing Director Asim Raza said that after more than two decades of continuous progress, the Cholistan Desert Rally has become the largest rally event in South Asia. He noted that the rally has made a meaningful contribution to strengthening Pakistan’s tourism sector and enhancing the country’s image on the international stage.

He further emphasized the immense tourism potential of Punjab, stating that TDCP is following a forward-looking approach to promote tourism at both national and international levels.
