[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The 6th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) competition 2023 is being held at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) Pabbi, according to the military’s media department.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the competition would feature seven Pakistan Army teams and ten international teams from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Jordan, the United States, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and Qatar.
According to the release, the 6th International PATS includes three observer countries: Azerbaijan, Myanmar, and Nigeria.
The 60-hour-long competition will be held from March 7 to 9, and will assess combat teams’ physical endurance, mental agility, and tactical ability.
Throughout the years, the game has grown in popularity and has evolved into an international PATS competition that allows competing teams to learn and share insights, notably from the Pakistan Army’s experience fighting terrorism, according to the ISPR.
The principal guest at the event was General Officer Commanding 37 Division.
Last year, eight Pakistan Army teams and eight international teams from Jordan, Morocco, Nepal, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and Sri Lanka competed in (NCTC) Pabbi.
