YouTuber Ducky Bhai was once again presented before the district court by the National Cyber Crimes Investigation Agency (NCCIA) following the completion of his earlier physical remand.
The NCCIA sought a 28-day extension of his custody, but after hearing arguments, the judicial magistrate approved only a four-day extension. Ducky Bhai’s lawyer strongly opposed the agency’s plea for a longer remand.
The arrest came after an NCCIA Lahore operation at Allama Iqbal International Airport, where the suspect, identified as Saad-ur-Rehman Zulfiqar alias Ducky Bhai, was taken into custody for allegedly promoting online betting platforms.
Officials claim he was involved in advertising illegal betting apps, including Xbet 1 and Binimi, through his social media accounts and YouTube channel.
A case has been registered against him under Sections 13, 14, 25, and 26 of the PECA Amendment Act 2025, along with Sections 294-B and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code, on behalf of the state.
