YouTuber Agha Sheikh Sarwar was reportedly abducted from his home by agency personnel after live-streaming Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protests at D-Chowk, Islamabad.
Imran Khan’s supporters gathered in the capital to demand the release of their leader, who has been imprisoned for over a year, facing charges including sedition and incitement to rebellion.

Sarwar, a vocal PTI supporter, covered the protests alongside PTI activist Umar Malik. Both were taken to an undisclosed location.
PTI condemned the abduction, claiming Sarwar’s parents were assaulted when they resisted, and their home was vandalized.
This incident raises concerns about press freedom and media safety during politically sensitive events. Authorities have not provided details about the abduction, prompting further outrage from civil rights and media groups.
