Woman Arrested in Islamabad for Smuggling over 8 KG of Opium

Tarnol police have apprehended a woman involved in drug smuggling within the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). The law enforcement officers discovered a significant amount of opium, totaling 8,250 grams, in her possession. A statement from a Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the arrest and seizure.

The operation was carried out in accordance with the directives of Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan.

The suspected drug trafficker, named Mah Jabeen, is currently undergoing investigation following her arrest. Authorities have initiated a case against her as they work to uncover more information about her alleged involvement in the narcotics trade.
