Around 90 percent of the winter season has passed, resulting in a noticeable decline in cold weather across Karachi. Residents have begun experiencing milder conditions as temperatures gradually move upward, signaling a shift toward more pleasant weather in the city.
Weather analysts say Karachi is expected to enjoy comfortable conditions in the coming days, with daytime temperatures slowly increasing. The change is part of the seasonal transition as winter approaches its final phase and warmer trends begin to emerge.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, dry weather is expected to prevail over the next 24 hours. While daytime conditions will remain pleasant, nights are still likely to be relatively cool, especially during early morning hours.
The Met Office forecast indicates that minimum temperatures in Karachi may range between 12°C and 14°C, while maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 27°C and 29°C. These conditions are typical for the city during the latter part of winter.
Officials reported that the minimum temperature recorded was 14°C, with humidity levels standing at 58 percent. The moderate humidity has helped maintain comfortable weather conditions across the city.
Northerly winds are currently blowing at a speed of around 11 kilometers per hour, contributing to the mild and dry atmosphere. Meteorologists say such conditions are likely to continue as Karachi transitions toward warmer days ahead.
