Pakistani Passport holders can now visit 31 countries with visa-free, visa-on-arrival (VOA), or electronic travel authorization (eTA) access. This follows Pakistan’s rise to 98th place in the Henley Passport Index 2026.
Pakistan moved up from 100th to 98th position, tying with Yemen. Officials say this improvement reflects expanding diplomatic ties and new international agreements, gradually increasing global mobility for Pakistani Passport holders.
Travel Freedom Expands
The upgraded access allows Pakistani Passport holders to travel across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and Oceania for business, vacations, or short-term visits. Travelers can now explore beach resorts, cultural hubs, African safaris, and Pacific islands without lengthy visa procedures.

Singapore remains the strongest passport globally, offering visa-free access to 192 destinations. The UAE climbed to fifth place, while India ranked 80th, allowing access to 55 destinations.
While the Pakistani Passport still ranks in the mid-range globally, its rise highlights consistent progress in international mobility. The expanded travel access makes planning trips easier, reduces paperwork, and offers citizens greater freedom to explore the world.
