WABetaInfo has revealed that WhatsApp’s latest update introduces a GIPHY sticker search feature, allowing users to find the perfect sticker to express their emotions more effectively. This new feature, available for iOS in version 24.17.78, enables users to search for animated stickers from GIPHY, even if they are not part of their personal collection.

In addition to the GIPHY integration, the update offers a new “move sticker to the top” option, which allows users to rearrange their stickers in the tray for easier access to their favorites. The update also enhances the media viewer experience, enabling users to reply to or react to photos, videos, or GIFs directly from the media viewer screen using new shortcuts.
Meta announced that these features will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks. Users who do not see the update immediately are advised to ensure their WhatsApp app is up to date through the App Store or TestFlight app.
