However, another useful feature is on the way that will allow you to keep numerous accounts on a single device.
No, we’re not talking about having numerous WhatsApp versions to operate various accounts. Instead, this update will allow you to utilise numerous accounts on a single app and switch between them at any moment.
The functionality was discovered, as usual, by the WhatsApp feature tracker blog WABetaInfo. For the time being, this feature is only available on WhatsApp Business, but it will be added to other versions as well.

As shown in the screenshot, WhatsApp is introducing a multi-account functionality by including a menu that allows you to switch between them at any moment. Many other social apps, such as Instagram, Discord, and Telegram, already have this feature.
When you sign in to another account from your device, it will be retained in your list of accounts until you sign out. People should be able to separate their personal and professional WhatsApp accounts even if they just have one device.
It’s unclear how WhatsApp would differentiate between notifications from different accounts. Perhaps we’ll get a small label identifying which account sent the message, but that remains to be seen.
Multi-account support for WhatsApp Business is still in the works, so it will be some time before it is available to everyone.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
