Bangladesh’s middle order salvaged the innings, with Towhid Hridoy scoring 58 off 47 balls and Mahmudullah contributing 31 runs off 22 balls.

Harmeet Singh emerged as the standout performer, delivering an exceptional bowling performance, conceding only 27 runs in his four overs. His accuracy and variety troubled the Bangladeshi batsmen, limiting their scoring opportunities. Despite a late flourish from Mahmudullah, Bangladesh posted a modest total of 153 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs.
Steven Taylor also made significant contributions, claiming two crucial wickets and disrupting the top order with an economical spell.
In the chase, the USA started cautiously, losing early wickets and putting pressure on the middle order. However, Steven Taylor stabilized the innings with a composed knock of 28 runs off 29 balls.
