The United Kingdom has announced a substantial increase in visa fees across multiple categories, set to take effect from April 9, 2025, as per an official notification from the Home Office.
The revised fee structure will impact tourists, students, workers, and individuals applying for British nationality.
Under the new policy, the cost of a standard six-month visit visa will rise from £115 to £127, while a two-year visit visa will now be priced at £475, up from £432. Similarly, fees for long-term visit visas—such as five-year and ten-year permits—will increase by £77 and £96, respectively.
Additionally, the fee for Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will see a £6 hike, bringing the total to £16 per application.
