[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) has outlined seven conditions for private-sector companies and employers to recruit foreign workers.
These terms were revealed in a video posted on MoHRE’s official Instagram account:
- The company must have electronic permits available.
2.The employee must be at least 18 years old.
3.Compliance with relevant conditions is required in specialised professions.
4.The worker’s occupation must be compatible with the company’s activity.
- The company must have a current licence.
- A legally authorised representative of the company must submit the recruitment request, and a work permit must be obtained.
- The individual to be hired should not have an existing work permit.
The ministry provides 12 work permits for registered organisations, each tailored to the type and nature of the job. The 12 work permits are as follows:
Work permit required for hiring a foreign worker.

Transferring a foreign worker between entities requires a work permit.
Residents who are sponsored by a family member may obtain a work visa.
Temporary work permit for hiring a worker for a certain project or term.
Work permit with a single goal for recruiting foreign workers for temporary occupations or specific projects.
Part-time work permit for recruiting employees on a part-time basis with less working hours.
Juvenile authorization for recruiting individuals between 15 and 18 years of age.
Student training and work permit for 15-year-old students already in the UAE.
Employing UAE or GCC people requires a UAE/GCC national permit.
Golden visa holders are permitted to hire workers with the UAE’s Golden Visa.
