The Institute of Space Technology (IST) disclosed that ICUBE-Qamar, the lunar mission, will be launched via China’s Chang’e 6 from Hainan, China. This satellite is the result of collaborative efforts between IST, China’s Shanghai University, and Pakistan’s national space agency SUPARCO.

The launch event will be broadcasted live on the IST website at the designated time.
CubeSats like ICUBE-Qamar serve the purposes of facilitating scientific research, technology advancement, and educational endeavors in space exploration.
Furthermore, alongside payloads from France, Italy, and Sweden on Chang’e 6, China will also carry payloads from Russia, Switzerland, and Thailand on Chang’e 7.
Pakistan’s ICUBE-Qamar satellite is equipped with two sophisticated optical cameras and is poised to capture remarkable images of the lunar terrain. After undergoing successful testing, ICUBE-Qamar has seamlessly integrated with China’s Chang’e 6 mission, marking a significant milestone as the sixth phase in China’s ongoing lunar exploration initiative.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
