According to reports, Israeli corporations are deliberately taking personal information from Israelis. The circular recommends exercising caution when providing personal information with unknown companies.

The circular from the government offers cybersecurity tips to help individuals avoid becoming victims of hackers.

The official letter warns against giving out personal email addresses to strangers and against using government email accounts for personal contact.

Personal information and documents should not be shared with unauthorised websites, according to the cybersecurity rules. To protect against hacking efforts, it is also advised to avoid clicking on unknown URLs.
