Coordinated Terrorist Attacks on Police Stations in Bannu Spark Security Response
Terrorists launched simultaneous attacks on two police stations and a police post in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, late Friday night, prompting a fierce exchange of gunfire between security personnel and the assailants, officials reported.
According to police sources, unidentified attackers on motorcycles hurled two hand grenades at the Khojri police post. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.

Community Response and Further Attacks
Following the attack, local residents armed themselves in support of law enforcement, vowing to defend the area. Community elders also pledged to take an active role in safeguarding the police post.
Meanwhile, militants simultaneously targeted the Bakakhel and Ghoriwala police stations, leading to gunfire exchanges between security forces and the attackers. The coordinated assaults created widespread panic in the region.

In response, security forces launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators. Law enforcement agencies have also tightened security measures to prevent further incidents.
