In SWAT, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, causing significant tremors in Swat and neighboring districts. The earthquake’s epicenter was situated in the border region of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, with a depth of 207 km, as reported by the seismological center.
Terrified residents recited Kalma-e-Tayyaba as they emerged from their homes. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage in any part of Swat thus far.

A month ago, Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, experienced a mild earthquake with a Richter Scale value of 3.1. The earthquake’s epicenter was near Karachi’s Quaidabad neighborhood, and its depth was measured at 15 km, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre Islamabad.
