Summer 2024 School Holidays Announced Due To Heatwave

The government of Balochistan has announced summer vacations for schools as parts of the South Asian nation face an intensifying heatwave.

To safeguard students from the extreme heat, the Balochistan Education Department has declared that summer vacations for school children will start on May 15.According to a notification from provincial authorities, summer vacations will run from May 15 to July 31 in heat-prone areas.

In colder regions, the Balochistan government has announced a shorter 10-day vacation period from July 22 to July 31.

In Punjab, the summer break for schools and colleges will start on June 1 and last until August 14, 2024.

However, the provincial authorities have not yet issued an official notification regarding this schedule.
