Punjab Sets Dates for Schools And Colleges Summer Vacation

Amidst the escalating heatwave, the provincial education minister of Punjab has revealed the schedule for summer vacations in schools and colleges.
Following a pattern akin to the previous year, educational institutions are likely to observe summer holidays spanning approximately two months.

As per the announcement, summer vacations are slated to commence on June 7, 2024, and conclude on August 19, 2024. A formal notification from the Education Department regarding this schedule is anticipated in the coming weeks.

Earlier warnings from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) indicated that June could witness maximum temperatures soaring to 49.5 degrees Celsius. Additionally, projections suggest that August might experience peak temperatures of 48.63 degrees Celsius.
