Spanish Tourists Become Victims Of Terrorism In Afghanistan

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In Afghanistan’s Bamyan province, militants from the Islamic State of Khorasan fatally shot three Spanish tourists visiting a historic site. An Afghan citizen was injured, and four foreigners along with three Afghans sustained serious injuries, according to Afghan officials.

This incident highlights the increasing threat of terrorism in Afghanistan, as the Islamic State of Khorasan extends its influence beyond the country’s borders. The group’s activities have impacted not only Afghanistan but also regions such as Iran, Turkey, and Europe.

The deadly attack on the Spanish tourists follows a series of terrorist atrocities linked to the Islamic State of Khorasan. In Moscow, 140 people were killed and over 500 were injured in an attack at the Croix City Hall. In Iran, over 100 people died in suicide bombings at the shrine of Qassem Soleimani in Kerman.

Afghanistan has seen a rise in terrorist attacks in recent months, with the Islamic State of Khorasan frequently claiming responsibility. Incidents include a bomb blast in Badakhshan targeting Taliban members, an attack on a mosque in Herat province causing casualties, and a suicide blast outside a Kandahar bank that killed innocent civilians.

Violence has also escalated in Kabul, where a bomb blast on a bus in Dasht-e-Barchi resulted in fatalities and injuries. The Islamic State of Khorasan has claimed responsibility for all these attacks, underscoring the group’s ongoing campaign of terror in the region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
