South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the third match of the ongoing tri-nation ODI series at National Bank Stadium on Wednesday. Both teams are eager to secure a win, as each suffered losses to New Zealand in their respective earlier matches.
Pakistan made two key changes to their lineup for this must-win game. Mohammad Hasnain has replaced the injured Haris Rauf, while Saud Shakeel comes into the middle order in place of Kamran Ghulam. The team is determined to bounce back after being bowled out for 286 in the series opener while chasing a challenging 331-run target.

South Africa, on the other hand, is also looking to recover after their defeat to New Zealand, who chased down 305 runs with eight balls remaining. South Africa has been struggling, currently on a five-match losing streak, while Pakistan has won four of their last five games.
The two teams recently faced each other in a three-match ODI series, where Pakistan dominated with a 3-0 clean sweep. Overall, in the 86 ODI matches between Pakistan and South Africa, Pakistan has won 33, while South Africa has claimed victory in 52 games.
