Sindh Imposes Pillion Riding Ban for Next Week

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]For security reasons, the Sindh Government has enforced a ban on pillion riding on motorcycles during the 9th and 10th of Muharram (Friday, July 28, and Saturday, July 29) in all provincial districts. The ban prohibits riding with a passenger on a motorcycle, with exceptions for women, children, disabled persons, and senior citizens.

In addition, all permits for carrying weapons in the province have been suspended, and there is a ban on all kinds of meetings and processions except those related to Muharram.

Furthermore, in Islamabad’s red zone, motorcycle entry is prohibited until the 12th of Muharram (Monday, July 31). To facilitate entry into the red zone, a shuttle service has been set up from three points: Serena Chowk, Parade Avenue, and Marriott Chowk. Authorities have advised people not to take motorcycles to the red zone area.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
