Sindh censor board takes action on screening Indian film “Pathaan”.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Khalid Bin Shaheen, the chairman of the Sindh Board of Film Censors, was alerted to the unlawful Pathaan showing in Karachi. In a statement, the board claimed that it had heard via social media that Fireworks Events had planned a public showing of the Indian movie in DHA on February 4.

The business also made movie ticket reservations. The statement further stated that until a legal permit for public exhibition has been given for the film, no private group or individual has the right to organise a public screening of any film at the public or private level.

According to Shaheen, such film screenings are governed under Section 4 [10] of the Sindh Motion Pictures Act 2011 and are not permitted without the Board’s consent.
