“Shell Pakistan Ltd.’s Board announced 9-month results on Oct 18, 2023, revealing a significant increase in profits, notably due to a one-time technical service fee relief from Shell International Petroleum Company. The company continues to prioritize business performance, safety, and environmental protection.
The company received recognition from OGRA for its efforts in promoting refueling safety for two and three-wheelers, pioneered by SPL. During this period, their Mobility business expanded with 19 new retail sites. They also launched a Voice of Customer program, allowing customers to provide real-time feedback through QR codes at their sites, amassing over 30,000 responses.

Additionally, SPL initiated two eco-friendly solutions. They constructed a plastic-infused road from recycled Shell lubricant bottles, benefiting the local community in Karachi. They also collaborated with Concept Loop, a Shell Tameer alumni startup, to convert plastic waste into building materials, starting at a Shell retail site in Karachi, with plans for further expansion.
Furthermore, SPL partnered with local farmers and the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) to transform agricultural waste into biochar, significantly improving soil health and land yield by 50%, contributing to emissions reduction.
