Pakistani mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete Shahzaib Rind revealed on Tuesday that he confronted Indian fighter Rana Singh due to derogatory remarks directed at him and Pakistan.

Regarding the altercation, Shahzaib clarified that he slapped Singh in response to verbal abuse and physical aggression initiated by the Indian fighter. The incident, captured on video, quickly circulated on social media platforms.

Following the incident, Shahzaib swiftly defeated Singh during their bout on April 21 at the ‘Karate Combat’ event in Dubai. Despite Singh’s impressive track record, Shahzaib expressed confidence, having undergone rigorous training in the United States.

Having been involved in martial arts since childhood, Shahzaib highlighted his pioneering role as the first Pakistani to compete in the American League. He emphasized his mission to promote Pakistani and Balochi culture globally while striving to portray a positive image of Pakistan through his achievements.
