Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi criticized sports journalist Shoaib Jatt, whom he referred to as a “self-proclaimed” journalist, for the unethical act of disclosing a private chat conversation involving Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

Afridi expressed his disappointment on a local sports show, denouncing the act of leaking someone’s private chat as unacceptable and unethical on the part of Shoaib Jatt.

Afridi commented, “I regret to say that it’s a disgraceful act. Such lowbrow behavior cannot be condoned. How can someone’s private chat be broadcast on television, particularly when it concerns our captain, Babar Azam?”

He further remarked, “Why resort to this disgraceful behavior? This is not the way to go. If the Chairman instructed Shoaib Jatt to do this, then I’m sorry, but it’s still a shameful act.”

It’s worth noting that Shoaib Jatt exposed Babar Azam’s private chat without his consent and presented it on a local sports show.

Reports in the media had suggested that Babar Azam was attempting to get in touch with Zaka Ashraf, but Zaka Ashraf had not responded to his calls. Shoaib Jatt attempted to dispel this rumor by making their private chat public, a method that is widely regarded as unethical.

Shoaib Jatt has consistently expressed disapproval of Babar Azam in the past, often sharing negative opinions about him. However, his recent actions went too far as he disclosed private conversations involving Babar in a public manner.
