Shadab achieved a unique feat, becoming the first Pakistani player to amass 300 runs and take 10 wickets as an all-rounder in a single PSL season. This remarkable accomplishment places him in the company of just two other players who achieved similar feats as all-rounders: Ravi Bopara in 2016 and Shane Watson in 2018.

Bopara accomplished this with Karachi Kings, while Watson did so with Quetta Gladiators, cementing their places in PSL history.
Throughout this season, Shadab has showcased impressive batting form, registering three half-centuries with a strike rate of 147.54. As the linchpin of Islamabad United’s batting lineup, he consistently performs at the number 2 position, forming a formidable partnership with Salman Ali Agha at number 3.
In a recent match against Quetta Gladiators, Shadab’s crucial knock of 23 runs off 13 balls helped him surpass the 300-run mark for the season, trailing only Colin Munro (309 runs) as Islamabad United’s top scorer.
Unlike previous seasons where Shadab’s batting position varied, this year he has found stability in the middle order, indicating a clear role defined by Islamabad’s management, which he executes with precision.
Tonight, Islamabad United will clash with Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi in the Eliminator 2 at the National Bank Arena in Karachi. The victor will secure a spot in the final scheduled for March 18.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
