[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Three commercial vessels were assaulted in the southern Red Sea in international waters, with the U.S. military responding, including the American destroyer Carney. The distress calls and attacks originated from Houthi-controlled territory, and the Carney provided assistance.

Houthi claimed responsibility for launching a drone and missile attack on two Israeli vessels, Unity Explorer and Number 9, stating it was in response to the demands of the Yemeni people and calls from Islamic nations to support the Palestinian people.
