The matter was initially raised by Senator Palwasha Khan, who highlighted delays in the issuance of arms licenses to parliamentarians. In response, Minister Naqvi assured that all members of parliament would receive their licenses. He further stated that the number of licenses would be increased in regions facing deteriorating law and order conditions.

Moreover, the minister directed that individuals who had paid for arms licenses under the previous government but never received them would be refunded accordingly.
