Security Forces Kill Four BLA Terrorists in Kalat Operation

Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, killing four terrorists belonging to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). The operation was launched after reports of militant presence in the area, officials confirmed on Monday.

According to security sources, the terrorists were involved in multiple attacks targeting security convoys and key installations across the province. A heavy exchange of fire took place during the operation, which lasted several hours.

Weapons, explosives, and communication equipment were recovered from the site, indicating that the group had been planning further attacks in the region. The recovered material has been sent for forensic analysis.

The operation was part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts aimed at eliminating militant networks and restoring peace in Balochistan. Authorities said the action demonstrates the military’s commitment to maintaining internal security.

Local residents reported hearing gunfire and explosions as the forces surrounded the militants’ hideout in a remote area of Kalat. No civilian casualties were reported during the engagement.

Officials reaffirmed that such operations will continue until all terror elements are neutralised, stressing that peace and stability in Balochistan remain a top national priority.
