Renowned Samsung insider, Ice Universe, suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is projected to maintain a weight of 233g, actually 1g less than its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro Max employs a stainless steel chassis and registers a weight of 240g.
While the difference may seem minor, a reduction of six grams compared to the S23 Ultra can significantly impact the device’s one-handed usability and overall handling experience. Interestingly, there are reports indicating that Apple is also considering the incorporation of titanium chassis in its upcoming iPhone 15 Pro series, potentially leading to lighter devices compared to their 2023 models.
