Samsung Galaxy S phones will skip camera upgrades for the fourth consecutive year

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup is generating anticipation with recent leaks indicating a split in camera upgrades among its models. According to GalaxyClub, only the top-tier Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to receive substantial camera enhancements, marking the fourth consecutive generation where the standard Galaxy S25 and S25+ are likely to retain their existing camera setups. This includes maintaining the triple-lens rear camera system and a 12MP front-facing camera, unchanged from their predecessors.

In contrast, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to introduce significant improvements in its camera capabilities. Leaks suggest a potential upgrade to a 200MP main sensor, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens and two distinct telephoto lenses, each equipped with 50MP resolution and varying zoom capabilities (3x and 5x). While there are speculations about a possible increase in battery capacity for the Galaxy S25, specific details remain ambiguous at this stage. Given that the official launch of the Galaxy S25 series is still several months away, it is advisable to treat these leaks with caution until more definitive information is released.
